Practices create RK360® Bronze Records for patients, uploading recent visit results (x-rays, care plans, referral notes) to patients’ Records. The Bronze Subscription Package grants patients their HIPAA record access rights and gives practices HIPAA-compliant patient-authorized health record access. Here’s how:
- The Bronze Package offers tools for creation and management of RK360® Bronze Cloud Health Records for each patient in a practice.
- The Practice Manager (PM), or an authorized team member, is the designated Record Administrator and the patient is the Record Owner.
- At or after a visit, the PM uploads tamper-proof files (e.g., care plans, radiology images, lab results) to a Bronze Record up to 10GB.
- The PM uses the RK360® Find Care Directory to refer patients to subspecialists, attaching relevant files.
- The PM automates the import of VA and CMS data into the Bronze Records of Veteran and Medicare patients.
- Consumers (patients and family caregivers) have persistent access, even after leaving the practice, to contents of their Bronze Records.
- At any time, consumers may upgrade to paid Silver or Gold Records, adding Find Care, automated data import, and other features.
- After paid upgrades, consumers are Record Administrators and may authorize the PM’s access to new contents of their RK360 Records.
- After paid upgrades, the PM retains persistent access to content they uploaded and to consumer-permitted content from other sources.
- The practice is notified about each upgrade and receives a continuing Record Management Fee as a share of upgrade payments.
